OVERVIEW: Installation of Solar PV System to Hertford County Hall.

SCOPE OF WORKS: Full delivery and installation of 200 Kw/p Solar PV System, mounted on the flat roof of a Grade II Listed building using East/West configuration to maximise potential output on available roof space. Together with HCC Oakrays Projects Director and Contract Management team assisted the Client to secure SALIX funding by providing / delivering a full specification and costs for a successful grant application. This installation was carried out across the flat roof of the canteen area of the Grade 2 Listed building, Total area 1,000m2. Throughout the delivery of the works the canteen continued to provide an undisrupted service for building users. Our engineers accessed the roof area via scaffolding and a designated window within the upper floors of the commercial space above.
Internal works within the commercial office space (Cable runs beneath raised flooring, snagging to floor coverings and hygienic post installation clean)) were was completed out of hours to further minimise disruption to end users of the building.
All works were completed in line with CDM Regulations, and were finished to the highest standards, providing a seamless service to our client in line with our core company values, customer commitment, integrity, team work, innovation and safety.
No H&S incidents or accidents reported.
No environmental breaches reported.
Works were completed on time and on budget.
