Wishing to employ a local company and receiving a recommendation from a friend persuaded us to finally take some action.
We had been considering the fitment of solar PV for some time and we approached Oakray Renewables to carry out a survey and to provide an estimate.
Knowing that our friend would expect good service and a good quality product we were willing to accept Oakray Renewabless’ estimate without resorting to competitive tenders.
The survey and estimate were carried out in a timely manner and our questions answered in plain language (which helped).
The installation was carried out with minimal disruption and, although the noises from the roof were a bit startling, all went well.
The installation looks good and the numbers on the generated power meter are climbing with gratifying rapidity.
The cost was not as frightening as we thought it would be and the payback time should be roughly half what we had previously been led to expect.
