Kingston Maurward College had 190kW of solar panels installed on their riding arena in August 2017.
The installation didn’t cost the College any money but will save them many hundreds of thousands of pounds over the 20-year term, plus they have the option to keep the installation or have it removed at the end of the term.
The consumption at this site was so high that it was actually worthwhile installing panels on both the South East AND North West facing roof aspects, giving a continuous generation throughout the day and maximising the roof’s potential to reduce the running costs of the College.
